Support the Plant Finder database

Baptisia australis, False Blue IndigoSince 1991, the William T. Kemper Center for Home Gardening has expanded home-gardening resources for Garden visitors. The Kemper Center offers 8.5 acres of display gardens, horticulture classes, and expertise from volunteer Master Gardeners and staff. It also includes online support through blogs, factsheets and FAQs, and the Plant Finder database.

Plant Finder includes the scientific name, common name, and plant characteristics of more than 6,800 plants that grow or have grown at the Kemper Center. It features images, bloom type and time, uses, wildlife interaction, preferred soil type, and other data. It also connects to the Garden's records of all plants in our living collection.

Please support this multi-channel horticultural support system for gardeners across our community and help it to grow.

Gifts to support the ongoing operation of the Plant Finder database at the Missouri Botanical Garden are fully tax-deductible.
