Commemorative Pavers at the Butterfly House

Girls looking at engraved paver The entry plaza of the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House is home to hundreds of cherished memories inscribed on the butterfly-shaped clay pavers.

Engraved pavers are a perfect way to commemorate a birthday, wedding, graduation, retirement, or other special occassion. Pavers are also a meaningful way to honor the memory of a friend, family member, or colleague.

Commemorative pavers are a donation to the Butterfly House, a division of the Missouri Botanical Garden, and are fully tax-deductible.

Each paving stone is traditional clay brick crafted in a butterfly shape exclusively for the Butterfly House. Each paver includes up to three lines for your message, with a maximum of 12 characters per line, including spaces. All pavers are engraved with a standard font. Bricks are $400 for nonmembers or $300 for members.
