Commemorative Bricks at the Garden

2015 Kemper fall courtyard displayThe William T. Kemper Center for Home Gardening is home to hundreds of cherished memories inscribed on the bricks of the entry court. An inner circle of bronze bricks is surrounded by a courtyard of engraved clay bricks.

Engraved bricks can commemorate a birthday, wedding, graduation, retirement, or other special occassion. Bricks are also a meaningful way to honor the memory of a friend, family member, or colleague.

Commemorative bricks are a donation to the Missouri Botanical Garden and are fully tax-deductible.

Each brick is engraved with names only in a standard font on up to two lines of text, with a maximum of 13 characters per line, including spaces. We cannot accommodate dates or sentiment. Bricks are $600 for nonmembers or $500 for members.

Please note: The Garden's dedicated brick program is currently suspended to complete an audit of available spaces. Please check back for updates this fall or contact (314) 577-5180 for other commemorative giving options.

Thank You!
